John began his study of bodywork in 2004 after a suggestion by Ulrich Bold that he study Jin Shin Do. There were two local teachers of this modality (Mary Gayles, and Cheryl Hockett). He jumped into the 3-year program and then later attended NW Massage school where he eventually became a facility member.
John has integrated Neuromuscular, deep tissue, myofascial release, Shiatsu, and acupressure into a very helpful and restorative combination. For 20 years John has taught, worked in premier clinics, works in private practice in Seattle and the Bainbridge Island area.
